Legal Goat is an online directory of law firms and attorneys in the United States. The directory is publicly accessible and includes firm names, addresses, phone numbers, practice areas, and attorney profiles sourced from publicly available information.
Law firms and attorneys may claim their listing and pay a monthly subscription fee to manage and enhance their profile on the platform.
Directory listings on Legal Goat are compiled from publicly available sources. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.
Legal Goat is not a lawyer referral service and does not endorse, recommend, or verify the qualifications of any attorney or firm listed on the site. Nothing on Legal Goat constitutes legal advice.
If you find that information about your firm or yourself is incorrect, pleaselet us knowand we will correct it promptly.
To claim a firm profile or access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Subscription fee: Claiming and managing a firm profile requires a subscription of $29 per month.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly to the payment method you provide. Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Legal Goat name, logo, and site design are our property. The underlying directory data is compiled from public sources and is provided as-is for informational purposes.
Content you submit (firm descriptions, photos, bios) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on Legal Goat.
Legal Goat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any directory listing, and expressly disclaim any liability for decisions made based on information found on Legal Goat.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legal Goat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms or your use of Legal Goat shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legal Goat and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Legal Goat may contain links to third-party websites (such as law firm websites). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. Links do not constitute endorsement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of Legal Goat after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
